Deirdre St John
Book Review #2
P.S I Still Love You by Jenny Han
I can't get enough of this series! I finished reading the second book, P.S I Still Love You about five minutes ago. I thought the first book of the series was good, but the second one was better. I have high expectations for the final book of the To All The Boys I've Loved Before series. I can't wait to start reading Always and Forever, Lara Jean.

But, before I start reading the third book we need to talk about why I loved the second book SO much. The second book is all about the love triangle between Peter Kavinsky, Lara Jean and a boy from her past returns, John Ambrose.
The whole theme of this book was are you #TeamPeter or #TeamJohn and I loved that (obviously I'm #TeamPeter). Duh.
It kind of had a Twilight feel to it, but with more romance and emotion - plus Peter is not a vampire and John is not a werewolf, so there's that. & I didn't love Twilight. Once you read the book, you will understand the theme a bit more.
I will say the writing in the second book makes you fall in love with John and Peter. So, it is up to Lara Jean and who she wants to be with in the end! With that being said, I love how the second book ended.
The movie To All The Boys I've Loved Before had more familiar scenes from the second book than the first and in the second book is when they don't want to fake their relationship anymore.
The second book has more challenges that the couple will face such as, another recipient of Lara Jean's love letters coming to town, John Ambrose. But, also her ex-best friend, Gen, is causing some trouble too. It really kept me on my toes. I couldn't predict what was going to happen next.
There is no motion picture for P.S I Still Love You, yet. But, I am hoping soon there will be.

I am still obsessed with watching To All The Boys I've Loved Before on Netflix. If you haven't watched it yet, DO IT NOW!!!
Jenny Han is amazing at what she does and her writing is so creative. Reading her series makes you fall in love with the characters and their relationships. As a writer, I aspire to be like her and hope my novel will be as successful as hers.
