Christmas Incorporated | Movie Review #5
I love this movie so much because this would totally happen to me in real life - not the falling in love part, but getting my resume mixed up with someone more qualified for the position.
Christmas Incorporated (2015) is your typical Hallmark Christmas movie. I could watch it over and over again. Whenever it is playing on television, I'm always watching it without any distractions.
The movie starts with Riley attending a job interview to be William Young's assistant. It is said in the movie that Mr. Young goes through a lot of assistants. But, Riley felt she could make an impression on him. The only step after the interview is to meet Mr. Young. But, when Riley gets up from the chair to join him in the conference room, she glances at the resume on the desk and its a different person with better qualifications for the position. What would you do if you were in this situation?? I don't know what I would do (maybe scream and freak out??).
If I knew I was qualified for the position and I can perform to the best of my ability, I wouldn't be worried. However, I am lying to them by saying I'm someone that I'm not. Getting resumes mixed up while interviewing could happen. So, the plot for this movie is not far fetched. You know?? It makes me love this movie so much more.
Back to the movie, William Young is your typical scrooge who hates the meaning of Christmas. But, when Riley convinces him to visit a small town to decide whether to keep a toy factory open. His mission to try and save the toy factory is off to a great start when he is pulled over and the arrested by the town's police officer. LOL. He's off to a great start. I laughed because William Young used the famous line,
"Do you know who I am??"
When he got pulled over. We've all heard that before, haven't we? In this journey Mr. Young finds the meaning of Christmas and love along the way. It's super duper cute.
Riley makes William Young participate in a bunch of Christmas traditions, such as, decorating a Christmas tree, ice skating and reading holiday books to children. Mr. Young stepped out of his comfort zone and in doing so, he finally found his Christmas cheer. What a miracle! With any Hallmark movie there are so many adorable scenes in this movie and funny one liners!
Don't you love when a scrooge from a Hallmark Christmas movie finds their Christmas spirit?? Me too. This is an oldie, but a goodie starring Shenae Grimes and Steve Lund.
Does William Young find out who Riley really is?? Do they keep the toy factory afloat?? You'll have to watch. I'm not spilling anything!
I recommend for you to watch this movie 1,000x because it is so good and I need you to see why I am so addicted - then again all Hallmark Christmas movies are addicting.
Okay, now it's time to cuddle up & watch Christmas Incorporated!
