cinnamon roll cookies..maybe?

Updated: Nov 28, 2021

before i start spilling the recipe and the ingredients for these cookies. you have to know that i fucked up.

ok? let’s not talk about it. or maybe we should so you don’t do what i did.

i don’t bake. i really am bad at baking. so, why did i decide to make cookies? i have no fucking clue.

ingredients you’ll need:

1 cup of butter, softened

1 cup of sugar

2 eggs

1 tb vanillla

3 cups flour

3 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

cream cheese frosting

i‘ll be honest with you guys, i forgot the salt. and when i realized i forgot the salt, i proceeded not to add salt.

but it’s fine.

the recipe also calls for you to make your own cream cheese frosting, but i am lazy soooo….i store bought mine. *ahem.* 😳

moving on.

turns out you were suppose to beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, first.

then add the vanilla and eggs one at a time. oops. mix it well.

next you were supposed to add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. mix until dough forms.

it says the dough will need to chill for 30 minutes. i let it chill overnight.

after your dough has chilled and is hard to work with, roll it into balls and place it on a baking sheet two inches apart.

bake at a 350 degree oven for 7-8 minutes. then, let them cool.

when they have cooled, you can ice them with cream cheese frosting.

the don’t look the greatest.

i‘m not a baker, what can i say?

they do taste like cinnamon rolls, though.

oh and don’t forget the salt!
