I made my first cheese board and I am so proud of it! Let me tell you what's on this beautiful platter.

First, we'll start with the board. I got the board from Homegoods. You can get the board anywhere or you can use a cutting board, (whatever you prefer).

Now, let's talk about what's on the board.

Remember creating a cheese board is completely customizable. You don't have to use the same cheeses, meats, fruits, or sides that I did. Make it your own!!

CHEESE

  • Sharp provolone

  • Pepper jack

  • Port wine

  • Colby jack

MEATS

  • Soppressata

  • Hard salami

  • Pepperoni

FRUITS

  • Strawberries

  • Grapes

SIDES

  • Walnuts

  • Almonds

  • Olives

  • Crackers (Pita chips, Bagel chips, Multigrain chips, Jalapeño pita chips, Garlic round chips)

SPREADS

  • Blueberry jam

  • Strawberry jam

& That's it!! After you buy all the ingredients, all that is left to do is get creative when you are placing the cheeses and meats onto the board. Make enough room, so that everything will fit, but don't be afraid to overlap certain items.

Janelle Sanz is the creator of this infographic and it helped me a lot because this was my first time creating a cheese board.

She tells you everything you need and gives you step-by-step guide on how to make a charcuterie board.

I love how Sanz mentioned what her favorite meats and cheeses are for the board, but states that you should use YOUR favorites.

Sanz manages an instagram account that everyone should follow called: SeedtoCider.

Additionally, there is a website for SeedtoCider. Sanz actively posts fall favorite recipes and where to get the best cider! Click here to check out her website.

I hope this post helps you make a cheese board masterpiece :).
